abstract = {In recent years, the cultivation area of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L. var. brevimulticaulis Vav.) has increased consistently. The aim of the study was to determine what fungi species, both pathogens and saprophytes inhabit linseed plants and evaluate efficiency of selected fungicides that are used in chemical control of fungal diseases. The experiments were conducted in 2017. Three combinations of fungicides were used in a field and a greenhouse experiments with Bukoz cultivar and 2 combinations in a greenhouse experiment with Jantarol cultivar. Fusarium species occurred most often among the pathogenic fungi in the field experiment. The applied fungicides limited the infection caused by Fusarium spp. at different ratio (efficacy from 46 to 100%). In all experiments, Alternaria spp. occurred frequently, most of which were identified as Alternaria alternata (Fr.) Keissl. The effectiveness of applied products was from 40 to 100%. Stem break and browning [disease caused by Kabatiella lini (Laff.) Karak] was found only on the Jantarol cultivar, where the use of azoxystrobin completely inhibited the development of the pathogen on plants. Gray mold was visible only on the cultivar Jantarol. The use of a mixture of fluopyram and tebuconazole reduced the number of Botrytis cinerea Pers. isolates by 67%, compared to the control. Colletotrichum linicola Pethybr & Laff., Septoria linicola (Speg.) Garass. and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary are of minor importance on linseed plants. W ostatnich latach powierzchnia uprawy lnu oleistego systematycznie wzrasta. Celem pracy było sprawdzenie, jakie grzyby (patogeny i saprotrofy) zasiedlają len oleisty i ocena działania wybranych fungicydów przeciwko sprawcom chorób tej rośliny uprawnej. Doświadczenia przeprowadzono w 2017 roku z zastosowaniem 3 kombinacji fungicydów w doświadczeniu polowym i szklarniowym z odmianą Bukoz i 2 kombinacje w doświadczeniu szklarniowym z odmianą Jantarol. & Laff., Septoria linicola (Speg.) Garass. i Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary. },
